The Bridge.

“An integrated community that celebrates users and removes the stigma in shelters.

Our project focuses on those who have become homeless due to unemployment. With covid19, there was a huge spike in unemployment as the housing prices remained constant. Our project seeks to re-evaluate the current solutions for this demographic and propose an integrated community that celebrates the target users while removing the stigma attached to shelters.

“Our project connects East village to the city, and engages as a self-sustaining campus that furthers the dialogue of how much a mixed urban agriculture intervention can be a precedent for future developments around the world.”

Moments.

Plant & Grow.

With 8000 sm of the growing area we are providing, we generate over 24000 kg of produce per season which will feed 50,000 people.

Eat & Work.

What is sold by the residents can offset living costs and create more entrepreneurial spaces for those who were once unemployed.

Live & Gather.

We dedicated spaces in each block to community such as lounges, dinings and communal kitchens. We also have over 120 residential apartment units

Our ideas revolve around the notion of urban agriculture as a means to create stable housing, acquire new life skills, and provide new job opportunities.
